4. Role Summary:

The role reports to the Clinical Development & Operations and interacts closely with Commercial and Product Operations teams. This is an important role in the organization and will manage key internal and external stakeholders.

The overall scope of the role is to advance patient care by engaging in scientific exchange with external medical experts and industry leaders to enhance scientific value of our products There is an emphasis on networking, communication and training internal and external stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of the science behind the medicine and to support collaboration to further differentiate our portfolio. A key expectation is to generate communication content leveraging the latest data in the disease space and clinical trials data.

5. Key Responsibilities:

1. Development & Execution of Medical Strategy:

- Create and implement the Medical Affairs Strategy in accordance with the overall Business Objectives.
- To assist in the development and marketing messaging for launch and commercialization.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, such as those from I&D, Marketing and Key Accounts, regulatory affairs to incorporate medical advice into plans for product development and commercialization.

2. KOL Management and Engagement:

- Create and sustain strong connections with academic institutions, medical associations, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Work together with KOLs to acquire information, get medical advice, support efforts for medical education, and establish medical advisory boards.
- Create a plan for engaging key opinion leaders (KOLs) in meaningful conversations and engagements.
- Maintain ongoing connections with a network of thought leaders, professionals, and health authorities in order to uphold and support the group's perspective on science.

3. Medical Information and Communication:

- Ensure that internal teams, external stakeholders, and healthcare providers have access to accurate and current medical information.
- In order to assure medical correctness and adherence to pertinent legislation, review and approve promotional and instructional materials.

4. Medical Education and Training:

- Create and implement educational programmes for medical professionals, and Customer facing teams.
- To educate healthcare practitioners, conduct medical education programmes.
- Inform the marketing division of any medical data that will be helpful for their development objectives.
- For health care professionals using our products on a regular basis, make sure they have access to adequate medical information and customer support.

5. Special Projects

- Develop HEOR - Contribute to HEOR studies and economic analyses to demonstrate the value and cost-effectiveness of our therapies
- RWE Generation - Lead the planning and execution of RWE studies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation, to generate insights into the real-world effectiveness and economic impact of our therapies.
- Publication strategy – Develop and execute strategies for scientific publications in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Market intelligence – Monitor and analyse clinical & scientific developments, competitor medical activities and medical trends to inform commercial and market access teams

6. Primary Objectives:

- Work closely with the Marketing team to tailor the messaging to external & internal stakeholders prior to, at and post launch
- Take the lead in developing the plan & conducting CMEs related to CAR-T therapies across all markets based on launch and commercialization plans
- Strong customer facing, listening, and probing skills
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to bring confident and engaging presentations
- Leadership skills: A proactive "can do" attitude and hands-on mentality; eager to continue to learn more
- Able to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and working under pressure
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous and eye for detail
- Excellent project and budget management skills
- Ability to function within a diverse team environment, across different departments and corporate cultures
- Compliance and quality mindset; compliant with business Integrity and Ethics standards
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English; and preferably in local languages.
- Preferably GCP trained

7. Competencies Required:

Technical Competencies:

- 10+ years of progressive experience in a Medical Affairs role in an Oncology company (preferably originator)
- Passion for the therapeutic areas of interest; strong scientific knowledge in haematology / oncology
- Experience as a medical advisor or medical affairs manager
- Sound scientific and clinical judgment, understanding of clinical trial methods and interpretation of clinical data
- Demonstrated track record of generating high impact communications content, on time

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication skills in English; both verbal and written; Ability to present complex or highly technical issues in simple and easy-to-understand formats.
- Strong Leadership skills with strategic acumen and problem-solving skills, able to inspire, influence and motivate internal & external stakeholders to work collaboratively and deliver on timelines and milestones.
- Innovative, Intellectually Curious, Creative thinker with ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment and solve technical problems as they arise.
- A self-starter with the ability to lead and drive change.
- Demonstrate empathy, creativity, digital mastery, or scientific genius to work in collaboration with a diverse group of colleagues

8. Qualifications:

- MBBS, MD (Master's degree) university education/degree in medicine / allied medical field

9. Working Conditions:

- Role Type: Full Time and Onsite
- Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the General Shift and 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the Post-Noon Shift (on a rotational basis). There will be two days off each week, which may not necessarily fall on a Saturday or Sunday.
