Role: Senior MuleSoft Developer – Salesforce Integrations (Client-Facing) Experience: 6+ years Contract type: Remote Overview Seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer with strong Salesforce integration experience and deep hands-on expertise in Mule 4. This is a client-facing position requiring excellent English communication, strong discovery skills, and the ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs in simple terms. The candidate will: - Design, build, and support enterprise APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. - Work extensively with Salesforce connectors and integration patterns. - Participate in client discovery sessions and provide accurate LOE estimations. - Work independently with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities. Responsibilities - Design & develop APIs using API-led connectivity (System, Process, Experience layers). - Implement advanced DataWeave transformations. - Build & run MUnit test suites. - Configure API Manager, policies, and security models. - Integrate Salesforce using REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming/Event APIs. - Use CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub / Maven). - Deploy solutions to CloudHub / CloudHub 2.0. - Troubleshoot complex flows, implement retries, logging, idempotency, and error-handling frameworks. Skills Technical Skills – MuleSoft - MuleSoft Mule 4 development (6+ years). - API-led design: System, Process, Experience APIs. - RAML, API Kit, API Manager. - DataWeave (advanced level). - MUnit testing framework. - CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven. - Deployments on CloudHub / CloudHub 2.0. - Expertise in retries, logging, error handling, and idempotency. Salesforce Expertise - Strong Salesforce integration skills (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming/Event APIs). - Apex for integration tasks (custom APIs, async processing). - Experience with real-time and batch/file-based patterns. Integrations & Security - Experience integrating with ERPs, Databases, iPaaS tools. - Messaging systems: Kafka, Anypoint MQ. - API Security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, Client ID enforcement. Soft Skills - Excellent English communication. - Strong in client-facing discovery sessions. - Can explain trade-offs and architecture in simple terms. - Works independently and estimates LOE accurately.
