Role Overview:
The Key Account Manager International E-Commerce will be responsible for driving revenue, ensuring brand visibility, and managing partnerships with global e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cross-border e-commerce operations, market trends, and the ability to execute strategies that maximize sales in international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development and Execution
Develop and implement the international e-commerce strategy for platforms like Amazon (US, UAE, EU), Noon (Dubai), and other regional marketplaces.
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and trends in global markets like the US, Dubai, and Europe.
Define sales and marketing plans tailored to each region to maximize visibility and profitability.
2. Channel Activation and Optimization
Launch and optimize product listings on platforms such as Amazon (FBA, FBM), Noon, and other relevant marketplaces.
Oversee the setup of product catalogs, descriptions, images, pricing, and A+ content tailored to international audiences.
Collaborate with logistics teams to establish seamless cross-border fulfillment operations. Monitor platform algorithms, keyword trends, and competitor strategies to improve rankings and discoverability.
3. Sales and Performance Management
Own P&L responsibility for international e-commerce channels.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring profitability across all global platforms.
Monitor KPIs like conversion rates, sales velocity, customer reviews, and ad performance to identify areas for improvement.
Execute promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, and platform-specific deals (e.g., Prime Day, White Friday).
4. Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with account managers at platforms like Amazon and Noon to secure marketing support, priority placements, and insights.
Collaborate with distribution and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts in international markets.
Partner with cross-functional teams (branding, creative, operations) to align e-commerce strategies with overall brand goals.
5. Marketing and Advertising
Plan, execute, and optimize advertising campaigns on international e-commerce platforms (Amazon Ads, Noon Ads, etc.).
Leverage sponsored ads, deals, coupons, and platform promotions to drive traffic and conversions. Analyze campaign performance, ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sale), and ROI to continuously improve ad spend efficiency.
6. Compliance and Market Expansion
Ensure all listings adhere to regional legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA for US, Dubai Municipality, and EU compliance).
Identify and onboard additional e-commerce platforms in potential markets for expansion.
Stay updated on cross-border e-commerce regulations, duties, and taxes to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in managing international e-commerce platforms, with a proven track record of driving sales in markets like the US, UAE, or Europe.
Prior experience with Amazon (FBA and FBM), Noon, and/or other global marketplaces is required. Experience in the beauty, personal care, or lifestyle sectors is highly preferred.
Skills
Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, international pricing strategies, and ad platforms (Amazon Advertising, Noon Ads).
Proficient in using tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Sellics for keyword research and performance optimization.
Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Strong project management skills to handle multiple accounts and stakeholders across regions. Knowledge of cross-border shipping, import/export regulations, and customs duties.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Monthly/Annual Revenue Growth (% and absolute) for International Markets.
Profitability (Net Margins, ACoS, ROAS).
New Market/Channel Activations (e.g., launching new platforms).
Inventory Turnover and Stock Management Efficiency.
Customer Feedback (Ratings and Reviews) Improvement.
Campaign ROI and Ad Performance Metrics (ACoS, CTR, CPC).
