Inspired by SPJIMRs mission of value-based growth, the Centre for Wisdom in Leadership (CWIL) seeks to enhance conventional leadership development approaches currently employed by corporate learning and development professionals, incorporating wisdom traditions from both the East and the West. The Centre is part of an emerging global network of leadership and wisdom centres, scholars, and practitioners. CWIL co-creates and disseminates new perspectives through blog articles, podcasts, training modules, retreats, and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, lead, and implement data collection and data management processes for research projects, particularly a multidisciplinary international collaboration called 'Wisdom Across Cultures Beyond Traditional Decision-Making Paradigms.' This project involves 30 scholars from 12 countries, with SPJIMR overseeing its execution in India. It aims to explore and redefine decision-making frameworks by integrating cultural diversity into models traditionally dominated by Western norms.
- Coordinate with researchers and project stakeholders, including attending all research-related meetings.
- Carry out other research project-related duties as required.
- Organise information, create outlines, and write content for the Centre of Wisdom in Leadership (CWIL) at SPJIMR in the form of application notes, blogs, articles, book chapters, white papers, and case studies in an engaging, practitioner-oriented format.
- Independently and collaboratively write articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals, traditional and online media.

* Content will focus on a wisdom/philosophical perspective on complex organisational challenges, complementing conventional OB/HR/Leadership Development/Training approaches with practical solutions.

* Example themes: Managing leadership transitions and succession, employee engagement and attrition, environmental and ethical concerns, aligning organisational values with employees&apos personal values and behaviours, decision-making frameworks, conflict resolution, work-life balance, well-being in high-stress environments, adapting to rapid technological changes and market disruptions, addressing unconscious biases and fostering inclusive environments, knowledge transfer and retention, resistance to organisational change, and enhancing teamwork and collaboration.

* Target audience: CHROs, Learning & Development or Training Heads, and CXOs.

Education: Masters degree in Social Sciences or a related field OR MBA with an HR specialisation

Experience: Five years of experience in research OR Five years of experience in HR, Learning & Development, or Training roles in organisations OR Five years of experience as a research assistant in Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, or Social Sciences at a management school

Skill set required:

- Hands-on experience with MS Office and Publishing tools
- Qualtrics Survey (would be beneficial)
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong communication skills

Other pre-requisites: Exposure and basic knowledge of domains of Neuroscience, Meditative Practices, Cognitive Psychology, Organisational Development, Leadership, Mindfulness, Wisdom Traditions and Philosophy (East and West)

Important Note: Please note this is a contractual position at SPJIMR Mumbai for preferably 1- 2 years and considered for extension based on performance and business requirements
