We are solving critical data, quality, and automation challenges to modernize how produce moves from farm to fork. We are looking for a Potato Supply Chain Specialist who lives and breathes the potato trade. We need someone who is deeply connected with processing plants, exporters, and cold storages. You must possess the ability to document and articulate the complex realities of the supply chain. You will act as the bridge between our engineering team and the market, translating on-ground processes into structured insights to help us build better technology. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Intelligence & Process Documentation - Document Processes: Meticulously map and document operational workflows within processing units, packhouses, and cold storages. You must be able to articulate how things work today to help us improve them for tomorrow. - Product Strategy: Collaborate with the engineering team to tailor our robotics and processing technology for specific Indian potato varieties (e.g., Lady Rosetta, Santana, LR) and use cases. - Identify Gaps: pinpoint inefficiencies in the current supply chain where automation and data can reduce losses or increase value. 2. Network & Business Development - Leverage Connections: Utilize your deep network of processing plants, exporters, and cold storage owners to generate early leads and pilot opportunities. - Partnerships: Act as the primary liaison with stakeholders in the Gujarat region, opening doors for technology deployment. - Field Access: Facilitate on-ground testing of our technology by securing access to partner sites (farms/storages/processing units). 3. Field Operations & Reporting - Travel: Spend significant time in the field (Mandis, Cold Storages, Farms, Factories) across Gujarat to gather feedback and monitor technology trials. - Articulate Insights: Map the flow of produce and price dynamics, converting raw observations into clear, actionable reports for the leadership and tech teams. Who We Are Looking For Essential Qualifications: - Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the Gujarat potato ecosystem. You must have worked closely with Trade, Export, or Processing sectors. - Network: You have a strong rolodex of contacts. You can pick up the phone and call a processor in North Gujarat or a cold storage owner in Deesa. - Process Articulation: You have the ability to observe a complex process and document it clearly. - Tech-Savvy: You understand the processing space well and are enthusiastic about how technology (AI/Robotics) can solve supply chain problems. Soft Skills: - Street Smart: You understand how business is actually done in the Mandis, not just how it looks on paper. - Communicator: Fluent in Gujarati (Mandatory for field interaction) and proficient in Hindi/English for documenting and reporting to the team. - Hustler Mentality: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where roles can be fluid and speed is essential.
