Job Title Junior Accountant 0-2 years experience Location Kolkata India Department Finance and AccountingAbout the Company We are a dynamic and growing company seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with 0-2 years of experience in accounting who are eager to expand their skills and grow within a supportive fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities Assist in day-to-day accounting activities including data entry and financial transactions Support the preparation and maintenance of financial statements reports and reconciliations Assist with monthly quarterly and year-end closing processes Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation for audit purposes Prepare bank reconciliations and other financial reports Work closely with senior accounting team members to resolve discrepancies Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions Generate and analyze financial reports using Excel to support decision-making Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and relevant regulations Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor s degree in Commerce B Com Accounting Finance or related fields knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with accounting software with Tally QuickBooks or any ERP systems is a plus Good understanding of financial statements and reports Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work independently and in a team environment Good communication skills Preferred Qualifications 0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting Exposure to working in a corporate environment
