Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer - Mechanisms (SolidWorks) Echanari, Coimbatore Full-Time Early-stage Hardware Startup At Bloomatic Innovations (FlorumNexus), we're building India's first AI-assisted automated flower-garland-making machine - merging tradition with robotics to deliver speed, consistency, and dignity to floral artisans. We're now expanding our core product team. If you love turning mechanical ideas into elegant, functional designs, read on. What You'll Own - Design and iterate mechanisms, linkages, gear trains, and motion systems in SolidWorks. - Convert concept sketches into production-ready assemblies and 2D drawings with BOMs. - Perform motion studies, tolerance stack-ups, and interference checks; apply DFMA principles. - Prototype using 3D printing / laser cutting / CNC and refine based on real test feedback. - Prepare detailed technical documentation - drawings, specifications, test reports, and assembly manuals. Success Looks Like - Cut design-to-prototype time by 40-50% using modular, parametric CAD. - Deliver zero-ambiguity fabrication drawings that machinists love. - Achieve on first-iteration assemblies. Who We're Looking For - Experience: 0-1 year (Freshers with strong project or internship experience are welcome). - Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Robotics Engineering. - Must-Have Skills: - SolidWorks proficiency - Assemblies, Drawings, Motion, and Simulation. - Strong understanding of mechanisms, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Hands-on mindset and curiosity to build, test, and learn. - Nice to Have: - Experience with actuators (stepper/servo/DC) or motion mechanisms. - Familiarity with 3D printing, laser cutting, DFMA, and GD&T.
