About The Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team at P360. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation that supports our products and services. Your work will be instrumental in translating complex technical information into user-friendly content, ensuring our clients and internal teams can easily understand and utilize our solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical communication within software development, engineering, or related fields, with a passion for simplifying complex concepts and enhancing user experience. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. A minimum of four years of industry experience as a technical writer is required, with proven ability to quickly grasp complex technical topics. Candidates should have prior experience in developing documentation and procedural materials tailored for diverse audiences, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with UI/UX principles, content design, and creating visuals or diagrams for technical support is highly desirable. Expertise in PowerPoint and proficiency with documentation tools are essential. Certifications from recognized bodies like the Society for Technical Communicators are preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities - Develop comprehensive and accurate documentation that aligns with organizational standards and best practices. - Deeply understand products and services to effectively translate complex technical information into simple, engaging content. - Create user-centric content that addresses the needs of various audiences, facilitating ease of use and understanding. - Maintain and update detailed reference materials, including research data, usability test results, and design specifications. - Assess current documentation and implement innovative improvements to enhance clarity and usability. - Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Gather information from subject matter experts independently to develop manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation. - Coordinate with development and support teams to organize documentation repositories, revise existing materials, and optimize data storage solutions. - Create and maintain information architecture templates that comply with organizational and legal standards, ensuring easy data migration and accessibility. - Develop content in various media formats to maximize usability, maintaining a consistent voice across all documentation.
