Job Description You'll Spend Time On The Following In this role you will be collaborating with IDP's Data Engineering and Governance, an enterprise capability team and be responsible for: - - Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models. - Evaluating existing data systems. - Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows. - Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system. - Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility. - Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models. - Updating and optimizing local and metadata models. - Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency. - Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems. - Work with Product owners, Data Scientist, Data Engineers, Data Analyst, Software developers incl. Architects to efficiently build data models inline IDP's data vision. - Prepare and maintain training material and SOPs, knowledge base articles and technical documentation. Take responsibility for Outcomes You love technology, are continuously learning and extending your knowledge of best practice and the business value of technology innovations. Here's What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Statistics 5 -8 years+ experience of machine-learning in production with evidence of successful delivery and overall, 10+ years IT experience. Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools. Strong proficiency in SQL with extensive experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS, including S3, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, and RDS. Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Able to effectively present information, gain feedback and respond to questions from groups of senior leaders, stakeholders, and customers. Comfortable with working with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment Any Data Modelling certification is desirable.
