**Position Summary**: The US Timesheet plays a crucial role in accurately recording and managing employee work hours within the organization. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers to ensure timely and accurate timesheet submissions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Timesheet Management**:
- Collect, review, and process timesheets from employees on a regular basis.
- Ensure timesheets are accurately completed with correct hours worked, breaks, and any other relevant information.
- Resolve discrepancies or errors in timesheet submissions in a timely manner.
- **System Maintenance**:
- Maintain and update the timesheet tracking system or software.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to the timesheet system and provide support to users as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the timesheet system.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations regarding timekeeping and overtime.
- Generate reports and analysis related to employee work hours, overtime, and attendance as required by management.
- Assist in audits related to timesheet records and provide necessary documentation.
- **Training and Support**:
- Provide training and guidance to employees on how to accurately complete timesheets.
- Offer support and assistance to employees and managers with any questions or concerns regarding timesheet submission or approval processes.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting, human resources, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in a payroll or HR department.
- Proficiency in using timesheet tracking software or systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and managers.
- Understanding of labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and overtime.
**Work Environment**: This role typically operates in an office environment.
