**Qualifications & Expectations**:

- Should have a degree in Fashion Design;
- Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion designing and merchandising;
- Passion for sustainable fashion, knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly materials, and sustainable trims and accessories; knowledge of sustainable garment construction techniques, dyeing and printing processes, embroideries, embellishments, etc.
- Should be able to understand the brand aesthetics and envision the design board;
- Mandatory knowledge of Adobe suite software for fashion design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D pattern-making software;
- Ability to create patterns along with size gradations, or assist the pattern master with the same;
- Must be current on global fashion updates, and takeaways from runway shows, and be able to predict future trends.

This role will report administratively to the Program Head and functionally to the Head Fashion Designer. The basic responsibilities will be to assist the Head Fashion Designer at every stage of the collection from design to production, in the following tasks:

- Developing design concepts and sketches in line with the brand esthetics and the inspiration for the collection;
- Creating a storyboard, mood board, colour palette, and developing CADs;
- Selecting fabrics, trims, and embellishments for garments;
- Researching fashion trends, fabrics, and colours;
- Communicating with vendors and manufacturers to source materials;
- Co-ordinating Sampling for each collection;
- Digitising and grading patterns and/ or willingness to learn the skill;
- Doing in-person quality checks at the production unit;
- Creating technical drawings and tech packs and specifications for the collection (mandatory);
- Assisting in handling the supply chain and production;
- Organising and maintaining all the design files and relevant data;
- Helping with any administrative tasks as required;
- Assisting with the photoshoots and video shoots, including the trials, doing the relevant alterations, and coordinating with the stylist to come up with detailed sequences for the same;
- Ability to travel out of town to meet with vendors suppliers etc. and attend relevant trade shows etc if required;

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
