**General Position Information**

Job Title: Executive - Production

Department: Production Department

Location: Akshaya Patra Kitchen_MH Pune

Qualifications: Graduate/Post graduate in Science, / Graduate in Food technology.

Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience in a reputed establishment in similar role. Experience in food/milk product or pharmaceutical manufacturing will be added advantage.

Language proficiency: Should be able to read, write and speak English, Hindi and Marathi

Computer proficiency: MS office with advanced MS Excel skills, knowledge of SAP or equivalent system will be added advantage.

Age: 22-25 years

Job Summary:
Responsible for effective operation of the food making area. The primary accountabilities of the role include meeting daily production target, compliance to standards of food hygiene, food safety, quality, GMP, C&S, safety, 5S & housekeeping. The job also includes achieving standards of productivity, customer service, cost and environmental protection.

Maintain and validate data collection, data analysis and record keeping in all stages of manufacturing.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include:

- Responsible for the effective operation of the food making area maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food hygiene and food safety standard requirements.
- Develop & ensure good understanding of quality & quantity of input/raw materials in food preparation, food manufacturing process and equipment operating procedure among all operators of the food making area. Provide time to time training to operators to discharge their assigned responsibilities to deliver quality product, on-time and complete ensuring the product consistency and taste.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and hygienic environment in food preparation, handling and distribution area to reduce/eliminate the risk of food contamination.
- Ensure the standards of safety and 5S at the workplace and provide time to time training to operators. Audit the safety and 5S practices periodically and provide feedback.
- Ensure that non-conforming product is handled as per laid down norms under quality dept. guidance and maintain records.
- Maintain and validate data collection, data analysis and record keeping in all stages of manufacturing process.
- Ensure personal hygiene of operators. Build awareness of operators to maintain standards of food hygiene, food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), cleaning & sanitization, waste management & disposal in food making area. Train operators for SOPs of their respective jobs. Conduct on-job audits to verify adherence to standard requirements. Provide feedback wherever necessary.
- Define workstation-wise roles & responsibilities for all operators and communicate.
- Coordinate with other departments like raw material store for uninterrupted supplies and with distribution dept.to ensure on-time and complete delivery of food.
- Prepare Bill of materials
- Ensure proper allocation of manpower during the shift operation. Conduct shift handover in a systematic manner with detailed communication to next shift Team Leader.
- Encourage multiskilling approach and support operators to develop new skills. Provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
