Plans, directs, coordinates and oversees all functions pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the transportation department, including personnel, equipment, and fleet vehicles. The prime concern is safe, efficient, economical transportation of students & staff between home and school on a regular schedule, and between other destinations within or outside the boundaries for school events.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee daily student & staff transportation and fleet of operations
- Establish all regular bus routes, schedules and stops and maintain routing spreadsheets to develop route maps for drivers, school, etc. as appropriate
- Responsible for maintaining and monitoring compliance with local state rules and regulations and Board Policies of the School related to transportation
- Periodical review of driver logs by checking the distance each bus has travelled on a weekly basis
- Evaluate safety of road conditions during inclement weather and work collaboratively with the Director - Finance & Operations to make recommendations for transport delays
- Report and follow protocols on all incidents as directed by the management. Ensure that all incidents are recorded, properly reviewed and timely recommendations / corrections are made towards closure of the same.
- Promote a productive environment for transportation staff and students by recognizing and solving problems and encouraging teamwork, creativity and understanding.
- Monitoring of fuel to all buses at regular intervals and recommendations thereon
- Additional duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate and as assigned by Director - Finance and Operations and Head of School
- Research of routing and alternative transportation options
- Tech Savvy in nature (should be technically sound with systems)
- Knowledge of current traffic, parking, local rules and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to speak English along with all local languages
- Providing exceptional customer services to staff and students at all times
- Cost optimization

**Education and Experience**:
▪ Graduate in any degree with background of transport operation is preferred

▪ Five years of related experience required

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
