Site Electrician

We are looking for a competent and reliable **Site Electrician with valid licence **to oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance at our construction sites. As a Site Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment are installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on construction sites.

Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.

Coordinate with other construction professionals to ensure electrical systems are integrated effectively with other trades.

Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identify faults, and implement necessary repairs.

Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Perform electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines and requirements.

Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including materials used, labor hours, and documentation of inspections.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior electricians as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
intermediate, diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.

Valid electrician license or certification (if applicable) in accordance with local regulations.

Proven experience as an electrician in a construction or industrial setting.

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.

Proficient in reading electrical drawings and blueprints.

Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
