Overview:
The Intern Website Designer role provides an opportunity for aspiring web designers to gain hands-on experience in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Under the guidance of experienced designers or mentors, interns will contribute to various aspects of website design projects, including layout design, graphics creation, coding, and testing. This internship aims to provide valuable learning opportunities and practical skills development in web design.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and Development:

- Assist in designing and developing website layouts, templates, and user interfaces using industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
- Collaborate with senior designers or mentors to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for client websites or internal projects.
- Participate in coding tasks using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement design elements and ensure responsive and mobile-friendly web pages.
- Graphic Design:

- Create visual assets, icons, banners, and other graphics for use on websites, ensuring consistency with branding guidelines and design standards.
- Optimize images and graphics for web use to ensure fast loading times and optimal performance across different devices and screen sizes.
- Content Management:

- Assist in content creation and editing for websites, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
- Help organize and structure website content in alignment with user experience (UX) and information architecture (IA) principles.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Conduct usability testing and quality assurance (QA) checks to identify and address issues related to functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Research and Innovation:

- Stay updated on current trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web design and development.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving website design processes, tools, and techniques.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Document design specifications, processes, and project updates to maintain clear communication and accountability.
- Prepare reports or presentations summarizing project outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with web design frameworks and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or equivalent tools.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout composition.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for creating engaging and user-friendly digital experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Portfolio showcasing design projects, web development work, or related creative endeavors is highly desirable.
- Availability to commit to a designated internship period, with flexibility for part-time or full-time hours as required.

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- PHP: 1 year (preferred)
