Telesales Representative
Job Summary
A Telesales Representative focuses on acquiring new customers and growing the business by using various sales techniques. They are responsible for reaching out to potential clients over the phone, understanding their needs, and providing relevant solutions to close sales.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Outreach: Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote products or services.
Sales Presentations: Present and explain the features and benefits of products/services to customers.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Customer Queries: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues professionally and efficiently.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers and relay information to the sales and marketing teams.
Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up communications with prospects and existing clients.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
Persuasion: Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
Persistence: High level of perseverance and resilience.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
