Job Description - CaMI (Share of Wallet) - AVP

Primary Responsibilities:

- Understanding client’s share of wallet and the revenue potential, and support sales in revenue improvement strategies via analytical innovation
- Gather intelligence on key State Street competitors and build a competitive landscape
- Preparation and analysis of financial data
- Build effective search strategies and gather relevant information leveraging both secondary and primary research sources and techniques
- Design and deliver high-quality Share of Wallet (SoW) and Market sizing analytics
- Collects and reviews business metrics by the client, products, product categories, and business units
- Work closely with Client Analytics team members to provide requested analysis, reports, and metrics
- Build client/stakeholder relationships and act as an advisor to the senior executives
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management through effective oral and written communication
- Communicate with different business units to collect information for SoW management reporting and analyses
- Analyzes and validates prototype, ad hoc, and periodic reports for accuracy
- Leverages data science, market expertise, and teamwork to support product and client research, prospecting, targeting, and establishing metrics for business opportunities and accountability across the GM and Cash Solutions franchises

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree (Post Graduate preferred) with 10-15 years of experience in strategic planning, industry analysis, market research, market sizing, secondary research, or similar activities at an investment bank, a research firm, or top-tier financial institutions
- Financial services industry experience is preferred
- Secondary Research of the Financial/Banking industry

Skills/ Knowledge:

- Ability to execute and drive results with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work confidently and build strong relationships.
- Team player and self-starter, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic market research concepts along with experience in using primary research tools like Morningstar, DnB, S&P Global, Bloomberg, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), advanced levels of excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic macros, excel workbook maintenance best practices)
- Strong communication, and presentation skills with great attention to detail
- Understanding of financial services offerings/products within Front to Back spectrum
- Business acumen of different sectors/industries, understanding of key financial documents reported by companies periodically
- Strong data analysis, data interpretation & problem-solving skills
- Experience in using Analytical tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Power Query, PowerBI or Python
- Solid business knowledge as it relates to the financial services industry
- Good understanding of statistical concepts will be a value add
- Ability to multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines
