Optometrist

**Position Overview**:Medivision Scan and Diagnostic Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team at the MG Road location. The Optometrist will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive eye care services, performing eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and contributing to the overall patient experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and overall ocular health.

Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and diagnose eye conditions, diseases, and vision problems.

Collaborate with patients to gather their medical history, symptoms, and concerns, ensuring a holistic understanding of their eye care needs.

Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids based on patients' individual requirements.

Provide expert guidance on proper eye care practices, including hygiene, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations.

Offer informed advice regarding surgical options and referrals to ophthalmologists when necessary.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including examination results and treatment plans.

Stay current with advancements in optometry.

Uphold the highest standards of patient care, empathy, and professionalism, fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues.

Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals within the center to ensure comprehensive patient care.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid optometry license.
- 3 years of experience as an Optometrist, with a strong background in conducting eye examinations and prescribing corrective lenses.
- Proficiency in using advanced optometric equipment for diagnosis and evaluation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- A patient-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
