Position Overview:
The B2B MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Specialist will be responsible for generating, managing, and growing relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners. The role involves strategizing, planning, and executing B2B MICE events while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and onboard new corporate and B2B clients for MICE services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and business partners.
Conduct regular follow-ups and client meetings to understand needs and expectations.
MICE Planning and Coordination:
Develop customized MICE proposals based on client requirements.
Coordinate with vendors, hotels, venues, and transport providers for seamless execution.
Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Oversee on-site execution of events to ensure client satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting MICE packages and services.
Develop strategic marketing initiatives to increase B2B sales.
Prepare and present sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts.
Collaboration and Networking:
Work closely with internal teams like operations, marketing, and finance for efficient event delivery.
Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and exhibitions to promote services and generate leads.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Post-Event Services:
Gather feedback from clients and attendees to improve service quality.
Ensure timely and accurate billing and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MICE or event management (preferably in a B2B setting).
Strong understanding of corporate travel and event planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and event management.
