**Primary Responsibilities**
- **Teaching & Curriculum Delivery**:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, and Economics) for classes as per the curriculum guidelines.
- Focus on developing students' critical thinking and analytical skills related to social, historical, and cultural issues.
- **Lesson Planning & Assessment**:
- Create detailed lesson plans aligned with the school’s academic calendar.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate students’ understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback and strategies for improvement.
- **Student Engagement**:
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages open discussion, debate, and collaboration.
- Address students’ individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Promote civic responsibility, ethical values, and global awareness.
- **Classroom Management**:
- Maintain discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Monitor student behaviour and attendance, reporting concerns as necessary.
**Administrative Duties**
- Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary activities and projects.
**Co-curricular Activities**
- Organize and lead activities like debates, quizzes, and educational trips related to social studies.
- Encourage students to participate in competitions and exhibitions.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Educational Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or a related field (e.g., History, Geography, Political Science, etc.).
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) with a specialization in Social Studies.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of teaching tools and technology (e.g., smart boards, educational apps).
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
- **Additional Desirable Qualities**:
- Passion for teaching and mentoring.
- Awareness of current affairs and social issues.
- Creativity in lesson delivery and problem-solving.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
