**Job Description**:
As a Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Billing software solutions (POS). You will be responsible for understanding testing methodologies, identifying use cases specific to the retail domain, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Testing Expertise: Understand and implement various testing methodologies and strategies to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of software testing.

2. Retail Domain Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of retail processes and workflows, allowing you to identify and validate use cases specific to the retail industry.

3. Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of software functionality, including those related to the retail domain.

4. Test Execution: Execute test cases and document results, identifying and reporting defects while working closely with the development team to resolve issues.

5. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new software releases do not introduce new defects into the existing system.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure a high-quality end product.

7. Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

8. Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the refinement of testing methodologies.

9. Effective Communication: Be a proactive team player, unafraid to ask questions and seek clarifications when necessary to ensure the success of the team's testing efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Testing Engineer, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Specific experience in the retail domain is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Proactive and inquisitive nature, unafraid to seek clarification and ask questions when necessary.
