Job Description: Admission Counselor for Pre-primary School

Position Summary:
The role of an Admission Counselor for a Pre-primary School is to facilitate the admission process and guide prospective parents/guardians through the enrollment procedures. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with parents, students, and other stakeholders. The Admission Counselor serves as a representative of the school, providing information, addressing queries, and ensuring a smooth transition for new students into the pre-primary program.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Admissions Process Management:

- Handle inquiries from prospective parents/guardians and provide detailed information about the pre-primary school program, admission criteria, curriculum, and facilities.
- Conduct campus tours and organize open houses to showcase the school's environment, facilities, and educational approach.
- Schedule and conduct admission interviews and assessments for prospective students.
- Maintain accurate records of all admission-related activities and ensure data integrity in the admissions database.

2. Relationship Building:

- Build strong relationships with prospective parents/guardians, establishing trust and rapport.
- Collaborate with the school's marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract prospective families.
- Attend education fairs, community events, and relevant networking opportunities to promote the school and increase visibility.

3. Student Enrollment:

- Communicate admission decisions to parents/guardians and guide them through the enrollment process, including the completion of necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure a smooth transition for newly admitted students, including classroom assignments, orientation programs, and necessary support services.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to address the specific needs and requirements of individual students during the enrollment process.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement in the admission process and make recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations when handling sensitive information related to student admissions.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field (a degree in early childhood education is a plus).
- Proven experience in admissions, counseling, or customer service roles, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse groups of people, including parents, students, and staff.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Familiarity with admission software and databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for admissions events or meetings.
