Job Title: Site Supervisor for Purified Water Systems at Pharmaceutical Company

Location: Chiplun, India

**Job Description**:
The Site Supervisor for Purified Water Systems at a Pharmaceutical Company in Chiplun will be responsible for managing the manpower and ensuring the efficient operation of the purified water systems within the facility. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Manpower Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the team responsible for operating and maintaining the purified water systems. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure optimal utilization of resources.

Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of purified water systems and their components, including reverse osmosis (RO) units, water softeners, deionization units, ultraviolet (UV) sterilizers, and distribution systems. Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

System Operation and Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance activities of the purified water systems. Ensure compliance with established procedures, industry guidelines, and regulatory requirements such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot operational issues or malfunctions in the purified water systems. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address equipment failures and ensure timely resolution of problems to minimize downtime.

Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of system operations, maintenance activities, and performance parameters. Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and participate in internal and external audits.

Training and Development: Provide training to the team members on the safe and proper operation of the purified water systems. Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in water purification technologies and share knowledge with the team.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings in the operation of purified water systems. Implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance system performance and reliability.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma / BSC / Water Quality in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience (3 years) in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on purified water systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of purified water systems, including RO units, water softeners, deionization units, and UV sterilizers.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations, such as GMP and GDP.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while ensuring compliance and quality.

Payment - 20000 to 30000 pm

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
