**What role you will play in our team**:
- Responsible for Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) aspects of the plant operations Including supervising and developing reporting safety officers of the plant
- Maintain continuous cordial relationships with external stakeholders such as government officials, regulatory agencies and local communities
**What you will do**:
- Ensure and promote Security, Safety Health & Environment (SSHE) of plant
- Ensure Plant operations comply with Corporate SSHE Policies on Safety, Security, Health and the Environment
- Assist Plant manager in developing SSHE improvements plans and monitoring
- Recommend SSHE improvements to Plant to ensure overall SSHE performance
- Accountable for the work undertaken by the SSHE department
- Ensure Plant continuously meet statutory requirements and maintain regulatory compliance at all times
- Advice and guide other departments such Operations, M&E, PQA, supply and logistics, security, industrial hygiene, occupational health, procurements on SSHE requirements
- Provide Supervision to the reporting safety officers
- Conduct frequent SSHE walkabout to ensure overall SSHE compliance
- Ensure OIMS expectation are complied with the concern relating to the Security, Safety and Health of the personnel in the plant and the environment are addressed
- Develops and implements SSHE programs such as e.g. LPS, SOEC, EPI, EBP etc
- Conduct SSHE related Trainings as needed
- Participate in internal or external assessment
- Assume security contact person
- Sharing of lessons learnt from affiliates concerning Security, Safety, Health and Environment
- Sponsor or Admin of various OIMS Systems, lead or participate in Internal or External assessments
- Implement the procedures as required by Corporate SSHE Policies, OIMS and ISO 14001, 45001
- Participate in Zone and Global networks
- Ensure other plant department are continually updated on lessons learnt from affiliates concerning Safety, Security, Health and Environment
- Liaison with external stakeholder such as government agencies, regulatory authorities, local communities, hospitals, fire department, etc
- Manage regulatory and governmental interfaces
- Any other administrative work as assigned by the Plant manager and regional or zonal SSHE managers and country manager
**About You**:
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with CGPA 5 or above
- Diploma in Safety recognized by factories Inspectorate, central labor institute or regional labor institute, Maharashtra State
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Safety, Security, Health and Environment role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SSHE position at manufacturing industry preferably lubricant blending industry in supervisory or managerial roles
- Possess Leadership, Management and Supervisory qualities
- Possess knowledge of management system requirements like ISO 14001, 45001
