Job Description for Accountant:
Position: Accountant

Department: Finance

Location: Dapodi

Job Summary:
As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization. The role involves handling various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to the overall financial stability of the company. The Accountant is expected to have a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the finance team.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely collections.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow and report any issues to the finance team.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- **Audit Support**:

- Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary information during audit processes.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Provide insights into financial performance and trends.
- **Tax Compliance**:

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws affecting the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
