Key Responsibilities:

- Understand & summarise the Requirements of product Specifications received through GTP & TS
- Prepare quality plan in line with the product, statutory and customer specific requirements
- Provide clearance on Functional/ technical specifications to the validation team.
- Should be Able to Test and validate the product. Able to make test plan and test schedule based on customer requirements and specifications
- Able to Prepare and discuss validation report with design team
- Act as custodian of FIRMWARE & HARDWARE and control the distribution of the same to ensure correct FIRMWARE & HARDWARE is released for production
- Able to carry out Root cause analysis on the failures and non-conformances observed at different stages of product realisation
- Hands on experience in preparation of 8D reports and in depth understanding of 8D report concept
- Prepare and maintain all technical documentation related to product QA including final QA and in process QA inspection.
- Able to handle the team of qualified inspectors and technicians
- Able to prepare and report the MIS
- Technical coordination for field complaints. Problem understanding, product testing, problem/root cause identification, coordinate with the design team for problem rectification, Initiate and manage RCA for product problems.
- Provide technical inputs to design team for new products/upgradation/correction
- Guide team for validation execution
- Evaluate production process to ensure defect free manufacturing
- Responsible for Field Failure Analysis, 8D report and routine replacement

**Key Skills**:

- Good Understanding of compliance requirements of IS & IEC static and smart Metering standards.
- Able to Independently handle the product testing.
- First-hand experience in root cause analysis, 8D report, 7 QC tools and other quality concepts.
- Good understanding of meter FW, BCS software and other software tools related to smart metering
- Strong in MS Excel (Pivot table, vlookup, data handling etc is must)
- Have good understanding for Product development cycle and product life cycle

**Desired Experience**:

- 6-8 years of relevant work experience in any smart or static energy meter manufacturing

industry.
- Experience in static energy metering and smart metering technologies is must
- should have hands on experience in managing the team of quality inspectors and technicians related to single phase and three phase energy meters manufacturing

**Desired Education**:

- Bachelor Degree or Engineering Diploma in electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E or DECE/ DEEE)
- Relevant certification would be an added advantage
