Job Title: Slitting Operator

**Job Description**:
As a Slitting Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting machines used in the manufacturing process of materials such as metal, paper, plastic, or other roll stock. Your primary role will be to ensure the accurate and efficient conversion of large rolls into smaller, more manageable rolls, meeting quality and production standards. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety are crucial for success in this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Operation**:

- Set up, adjust, and operate slitting machines to cut materials into specified widths.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure efficient and accurate slitting processes.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform regular quality checks on the slitted materials to ensure they meet specifications.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality.
- **Material Loading and Unloading**:

- Load large rolls of material onto the slitting machine.
- Unload and label smaller rolls for further processing or shipping.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Conduct routine maintenance on slitting machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing blades.
- Troubleshoot and address minor issues to minimize downtime.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate production records, including the length and quantity of materials produced.
- Complete required paperwork for each production run.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with production team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Communicate any issues or delays to supervisors.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Suggest and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
