Junior Interior Designer

**What this job involves**:

- Assist senior designers in creating design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for workplace interiors. - Research materials, finishes, furniture, and equipment to support the design concept and budget. - Create presentations, mood boards, and 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders. - Support the design team to deliver medium to large-scale workplace projects. - Undertake site, furniture, and equipment surveys. - Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and suppliers when required to discuss design specifications and project timelines. - Day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines. - Provide support on projects from inception to completion with the design and project team members. - Create project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project schedules. - Provide design support during all phases of design, ensuring that the design intent is maintained.

Desired experience and technical skills
Required - A degree in architecture, interior design or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in workplace interior design. - Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. - Knowledge of workplace design trends, building codes, and industry standards. - Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Willingness to learn and take direction from intermediate and senior designers. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
