**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on biological samples, such as blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
- Prepare specimens for analysis, including centrifugation, staining, and culturing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with standard procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to quality control standards and performing regular maintenance checks.
- Record and interpret test data, documenting findings accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss test results, troubleshoot issues, and recommend further diagnostic procedures if necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in laboratory technology and methodologies.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Relevant certification or licensure as required by regulatory authorities.
- Proven experience working in a medical laboratory setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording data.
- Proficiency in using laboratory software and computer systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
