Job Function: Field Sales The role:
SoftwareOne is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Pre-Sales Specialist with a strong background in the Security domain to join our team. As a Pre-Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise, solution design, and excellent customer service specifically in the area of security solutions. Your deep understanding of security technologies and industry trends will help drive business growth and enable our clients to address their security challenges effectively.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Engagement**: Engage with customers to understand their security requirements, pain points, and objectives. Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify opportunities where security solutions can add value and mitigate risks.

**Solution Design and Presentations**: Collaborate with the sales team to design and present tailored security solutions that align with customer requirements. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase the benefits and capabilities of our security offerings.

**Technical Expertise**: Possess a strong understanding of security technologies, frameworks, and best practices, including but not limited to areas such as network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, cloud security, threat intelligence, and security operations. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry standards to provide accurate and relevant guidance to customers.

**Proposal Development**: Assist the sales team in creating detailed and comprehensive security proposals that address customer needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, licensing, and solution configurations.

**Relationship Building**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors. Act as a trusted advisor and security consultant to support long-term customer success and foster client loyalty.

**POC Management**: Plan, coordinate, and execute proof of concepts and pilots to validate the effectiveness of security solutions. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during the POC phase to address any issues or concerns.

b Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle by providing technical guidance, addressing customer inquiries, and conducting product demonstrations. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project handover.

**Industry Expertise**: Stay informed about the latest security trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies. Leverage your industry knowledge to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team, positioning SoftwareOne as a trusted advisor and differentiating our security solutions.

What we need to see from you:
**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-10 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, with a focus on security solutions.
- Should have capabilities on Building/ defining SoW for Deployments ,
- Strong expertise in security technologies and frameworks, with a deep understanding of network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, cloud security, threat intelligence, and security operations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in solution design, POC management, and technical demonstrations related to security.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
