**Job Title**: _**Education Counsellor**_

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Student Guidance**:

- Provide guidance and counselling to students on educational and career-related matters.
- Assess students' interests, abilities, and goals to help them make informed academic and career choices.

2. **Educational Planning**:

- Assist students in developing academic plans and selecting courses based on their career aspirations.
- Stay updated on educational programs, courses, and admission requirements.

3. **Career Counselling**:

- Offer career counselling services, helping students explore career options and pathways.
- Provide information on various professions, industries, and job markets.

- Provide information on available financial resources for education.

6. **Organize Workshops and Seminars**:

- Conduct workshops and seminars on topics such as study skills, test preparation, and career development.
- Collaborate with educational institutions and organizations to organize events.

7. **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and counselling sessions.
- Compile and organize information related to colleges, courses, and career opportunities.

8. **Stay Informed**:

- Stay current on trends and developments in the education sector, including changes in admission processes, curriculum updates, and industry demands.

9. **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders.

10.**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to support students' academic success.
- Work with external organizations and employers to create internship and job placement opportunities.

**Qualifications**:
1. **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Education, Psychology, or a related field. A master’s degree may be preferred.

2. **Counselling Skills**:

- Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to empathize and effectively communicate with students from diverse backgrounds.

3. **Knowledge of Educational Systems**:

- Understanding of the education system, including various educational levels, curricula, and accreditation processes.

4. **Career Counselling Experience**:

- Experience in providing career guidance and counselling to students.

5. **Communication Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

6. **Organizational Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

7. **Technology Proficiency**:

- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for record-keeping and communication.

8. **Ethical Standards**:

- Adherence to ethical guidelines and standards in counselling.

9. **Empathy**:

- Ability to understand and respond to the needs of students with empathy and sensitivity.

10.**Continuous Learning**:

- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on counselling techniques and educational trends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹10,924.16 - ₹24,342.00 per month
