**Job Description: Production Incharge in Corrugation**

**Position Overview**: As a Production Incharge in a corrugation industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of corrugated boxes, ensuring efficient production while maintaining high quality standards. You will manage a team of production workers, coordinate with other departments, and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Planning and Execution**:

- Develop production schedules and ensure timely execution of manufacturing orders.
- Monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Train production staff on quality standards and procedures.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise and motivate production team members to achieve productivity goals.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills and workload.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- **Inventory and Material Management**:

- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure availability of raw materials and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate requisitions as needed to avoid stockouts.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize material usage.
- **Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)**:

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a safe working environment.
- Investigate and report incidents or accidents and implement preventive measures.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Lead initiatives to implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation among the production team.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in the corrugation or packaging industry.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment used in corrugated box manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Willingness to work in shifts and extended hours when necessary.
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control principles.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) is a plus.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
