- Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure their reliability and capability.
- Maintain a supplier database with up-to-date information.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Draft and review contracts, ensuring legal and compliance standards are met.
- Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs.
- Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Analyze market trends and conduct market surveys.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet specified standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions if necessary.
- Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.
- Generate reports on procurement activities and costs.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting procurement.
