The Water Technology Research (WaTeR) Lab, which is the primary lab of the Center for Water Security (CWS) at Plaksha University, is pursuing ongoing projects on monitoring water quality, advanced treatment technologies and resource recovery from wastewater.

**Eligibility**:
Interested individuals with an M. Sc. in Chemistry/Environmental Science/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or other relevant disciplines are eligible to apply.

**Requisite work experience**:

- Prior experience (of at least 2 years) in an analytical lab is desirable Experience in analysis of water and wastewater samples for various parameters

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance of the lab equipment (e.g., ensuring they are regularly calibrated, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the equipment are available and updated, liaising with the suppliers for spares/repairs/maintenance contracts)
- Analysis of water and wastewater samples for various parameters and maintaining the SOPs for the analytical procedures
- Maintaining the inventory of lab consumables and support in procurement
- Facilitating the work of researchers/students/interns working in the lab (e.g. help in setting up experiments, sample analysis)
