Student Placement Coordinator

**JJob Summary**:
The Training and Placement Officer is responsible for developing and implementing training programs, fostering industry relationships, and facilitating placement opportunities for students/employees. The goal is to enhance employability, ensure career development, and maintain strong connections with the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Training:
1. Design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance students'/employees' skills and employability.
2. Conduct need assessment, identify training requirements, and create customized programs.
3. Collaborate with faculty members and industry experts to develop curriculum and training content.
4. Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences on various topics, including soft skills, technical skills, and industry trends.
Placement:
1. Establish and maintain relationships with potential employers, recruiters, and industry partners.
2. Coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and placement events.
3. Facilitate internships, project placements, and final placements for students.
4. Monitor placement statistics and analyze trends to improve placement outcomes.
Industry Partnerships:
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, alumni, and stakeholders.
2. Negotiate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and collaborations with industries.
3. Facilitate industry-academia interactions, including guest lectures, projects, and research collaborations.
Counseling and Guidance:
1. Provide career counseling and guidance to students/employees.
2. Conduct mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and career development workshops.
3. Assist students/employees in choosing career paths and industries.
Administrative Tasks:
1. Manage training and placement budgets, reports, and databases.
2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless training and placement operations.
3. Maintain records of training programs, placement statistics, and alumni tracking.
*Requirements
2. 2-5 years of experience in training and placement,
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
