2. Relevant Experience:

- Proven experience in a financial management role, such as Financial Controller,

- Experience in the specific industry or sector, such as automotive, manufacturing,
retail, or services, is often preferred as it demonstrates familiarity with industry
- specific challenges and regulations.

3. Financial Expertise:

- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations
(e.g., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, International Financial Reporting
Standards) is essential.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial
modeling.
- Experience with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial
statements, consolidation, and financial controls.

4. Leadership and Management Skills:

- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including providing guidance,
mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet
deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
5. Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in financial management software and enterprise resource planning
(ERP) systems. Experience with popular systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft
Dynamics is beneficial.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for financial
analysis, modeling, and data manipulation.
6. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with
stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives, department
heads, and staff.
- Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional
teams, external auditors, and other stakeholders.
