**Architect - Showroom & Production Design**

**Job Title**: Architect - Showroom & Production Design

**Reports to**: Directors

**Department**: Production Design and R&D

**Role Summary**:We are looking for a skilled Architect with a strong background in furniture design and showroom aesthetics to lead and enhance the visual presentation and quality of our showroom products. This role involves working closely with production and quality control teams to drive improvements that reflect the brand’s values and elevate customer experience. The Architect will be instrumental in ensuring that all products and showroom setups align with the brand’s design ethos, creating a visually engaging and refined space that resonates with our customer base.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Showroom Aesthetic Management**:

- Curate and maintain the showroom’s overall aesthetic, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s identity and offers an inviting, visually appealing experience for customers.
- Regularly review showroom layout and product displays, implementing updates based on seasonal themes, design trends, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with marketing and visual merchandising teams to create promotional displays that enhance customer engagement and align with brand goals.
- **Production Process Evaluation and Quality Enhancement**:

- Conduct detailed evaluations of production processes, identifying design and quality enhancements that improve both visual appeal and durability.
- Recommend modifications to production methods, optimizing materials and production techniques to uphold efficiency and sustainability.
- Work with production teams to introduce innovative materials and finishes that align with the brand’s quality standards and design language.
- **Post-Quality Control (QC) Assessment**:

- Review QC reports to identify areas for improvement, focusing on both visual and functional product elements.
- Establish aesthetic benchmarks for product quality to ensure that all items meet or exceed the brand’s standards.
- Propose actionable design refinements based on QC results and customer insights, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction.
- **Brand Quality Assurance and Standards Maintenance**:

- Maintain the brand’s quality and aesthetic standards, ensuring all showroom products and displays reflect the brand’s commitment to excellence.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, upholding the brand’s values and visual identity in every aspect of showroom and product design.
- Continuously evaluate and make timely improvements to keep the brand aligned with market trends and customer preferences.
- **Research & Innovation in Design**:

- Implement design concepts that emphasize sustainability and customer-centricity, enhancing the showroom experience.
- Introduce design solutions that improve functionality, comfort, and aesthetic appeal, ensuring alignment with the brand's design language.
- **Team Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate effectively with design, production, QC, and sales teams to foster a unified approach to product and showroom quality.
- Actively participate in meetings, sharing updates on design improvements and insights on quality and aesthetic considerations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment with a solution-oriented mindset that motivates and inspires team members.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field, ideally from a reputable institution such as the National Institute of Design (NID) or a similar design-focused college.
- **Experience**:

- 7+ years of experience in the interior or furniture industry, with a focus on showroom design, production quality control, or related fields.
- Expertise in balancing design and functionality, with a keen eye for aesthetic detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) for layout planning and visual presentation.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and furniture finishing techniques.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present ideas clearly.
- A proactive attitude, positive outlook, and solution-driven approach, with a dedication to upholding and improving brand standards.
