**BACKGROUND**

The Hans Foundation, established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that that works for the improvement of quality of life for underprivileged communities across India through Health, Education, Livelihood and Disability sector interventions. THF undertakes direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing funding support to not-for-profit organisations in India through its donor - RIST, USA. THF’s Strategic planning focuses on key areas of its work with the aim of addressing the key issues of poverty alleviation, economic inequalities, and 360° impact on the quality of life through social development programs. THF’s programs are majorly implemented in the most rural and under-developed areas in the country. Over the years, THF has expanded its charitable activities in collaboration with State and Central Governments, institutions, corporates, academia and non-government organizations for sustainable interventions to achieve scale and economy. The interventions implemented by the foundation range from grass root level to national level programs.

**ABOUT PROJECT**

The Hans Wellness Centre (Health services for students) has been conceptualized with a focus on the mental and physical well-being of school students. The health professionals working on this project would be the backbone to steer the project toward the intended impact and the outcomes. The Hans Foundation has started its kind initiative to provide improvement in the physical, mental, and social well-being of school-age children in 24 schools of Delhi NCR, to help towards leading a healthy life. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages and Sustainable Development and Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. THF is willing to implement this unique project which is the need of the hour in Govt and private schools of Delhi NCR.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Support for the effective functioning of Hans Wellness Centre in the School.
- Conduct physical screening of students in the school/s assigned.
- Assist doctor in providing Primary Healthcare Services.
- Maintain digital health records (update the App and keep track of the same)
- Documentation of the work undertaken and assigned by management
- Maintain records of students and provide health education
- Provide medical assistance in other schools/community centres (if any) as well as in the cluster, as and when needed
- Provide preventive, promotive, and curative health care services under the supervision of a Medical Officer
- Connect with parents/guardians: participants in Parents Teacher Meetings.
- Home visit as per the instructions from Medical Officer / Project Manager.
- Attend meetings and seminars as and when required.
- Any other work assigned by THF

**Reporting to**: Medical Officer, Project Manager, and Nodal teacher/principal in the school

**Other Indicative Requirements**:
**Educational Qualifications**
- Auxiliary Midwifery(ANM) course
- Registration with Delhi Nursing Council

**Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other Requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications, etc.)**
- Experience working in the field/clinic for 2-3 years, preferably in the Paediatric department

**Working days and Timings**
- Monday - Saturday

**Holidays**
- Sundays
- Other Gazetted Leaves (As per the list of THF)
