Network Technician

**Work Location**: Thanjavur & Chennai

As an Network Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting Network projects by performing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks related to Networking systems in IT Infrastructure Projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components.
- Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular network maintenance tasks, including firmware updates and patch management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network infrastructure improvements.
- Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures accurately.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a networking technician or a similar role, with a focus on basic IT Infrastructure Projects
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with network diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Minimum of a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Network+ will be an advantage.
