**Position Overview**:
The Plant Incharge at a Compressed Biogas Plant is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the plant's operations. This includes overseeing the production, maintenance, safety, and compliance aspects of the facility to ensure the continuous and efficient generation of compressed biogas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Plant Operations**:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations, including feedstock intake, CSTR digestion, PSA gas purification, and compression processes.
Monitor process parameters to ensure the production of high-quality compressed biogas.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- **Maintenance and Repairs**:
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to keep equipment and machinery in optimal condition.
Schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance activities, ensuring mínimal disruption to production.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a safe working environment.
Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with permits and reporting requirements.
- **Staff Management**:
Hire, train, and supervise plant personnel.
Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to the team.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- **Inventory Management**:
Monitor and manage inventory levels of feedstock, chemicals, and spare parts.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure a continuous supply chain.
- **Quality Control**:
Implement quality control measures to ensure the biogas produced meets specified standards.
Conduct routine quality checks and adjustments as necessary.
- **Reporting**:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant performance, production metrics, and compliance.
Communicate plant status and issues to higher management.
- **Budget Management**:
Participate in budget planning and control operational costs.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B.Tech in Mechanical /Chemical /Environmental/Electrical).
- Proven experience **(20 years+)** in managing biogas or similar industrial operations.
- Knowledge of biogas production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certifications in safety and environmental management.
- Experience with process automation and control systems.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and sustainability practices.

**Salary**: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
