We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the creation of innovative engineering solutions. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including plumbing design and mechanical system design. Your role will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**General Responsibilities**:

- Perform calculations and designs.
- From concept to substantial completion, design engineering systems.
- Conduct research and seek guidance when performing unfamiliar tasks.
- Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
- Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
- Coordinate project designs with other disciplines and communicate effectively.
- Coordinate efforts of other engineers on the same project.

**HVAC Design**:

- Perform heat/cooling load calculations using HAP/Trane/Trace/Ellite software.
- Design a variety of HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, and distribution system sizing.
- Develop and monitor HVAC work plans in coordination with project management.
- Utilize 3D CAD software to create detailed HVAC drawings.
- Write and edit specification sections and develop new details as needed.
- Manage work plans and deliverables across multiple projects within budget constraints.
- Prepare studies and reports on HVAC systems as required for projects.

**Plumbing Design**:

- Calculate supply fixture units (SFU) and drainage fixture units (DFU) to determine water supply demand and drainage load.
- Size booster pumps and sewage/sump pumps based on project requirements.
- Select appropriate plumbing fixtures according to calculated data.
- Design fire protection systems, including sprinkler layout and coordination using Revit and Navisworks software.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA Codes and Standards, including obstruction rules for sprinkler placements.
- Review design drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Annotate, dimension, and detail production drawings according to standards and practices.
- Manage large sheet sets, including revisions and markups for each project.
- Plot drawings to PDF, DWG, or paper plots as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as HAP, Trane Trace, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in mechanical and plumbing design in the US Projects preferred.
- Knowledge of NFPA Codes and Standards is advantageous.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
