Entomologist

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose pest and disease problems across our plant collections, particularly in ornamental plants and greenhouse crops.
- Implement swift, scientifically-backed treatment plans to manage and eradicate pests.
- Develop and execute preventative measures to minimize future outbreaks.
- Collaborate with the nursery team to maintain optimal plant health and monitor pest activity.
- Stay updated on the latest entomology research, treatments, and technologies.
- Train nursery staff on pest identification and management techniques.
- Prepare reports on pest incidences, treatments applied, and plant health monitoring.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure to address pest-related emergencies.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

**Qualification**:

- Master’s degree in Entomology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in pest identification and control.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with greenhouse environments and their unique pest challenges.
- Proficiency in plant disease diagnostics and advanced pest control methods.
- Hands-on experience with biological control agents and environmentally sustainable pest control practices.

Experience: 5 Years or more.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
