**Job Title**: Fitter, Construction

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Function**: Fitter (PEB)

The tasks a Fitter, Construction is expected to perform include:

- Erecting columns, trusses and general fabrication work at site for construction of buildings, heavy foundations, hangars, sheds, etc. under guidance of Civil Engineer or Overseer
- Examining drawings and other specifications
- Selecting rods and cutting them to required length
- Bending rods using hand tools or bending machine and joining them together with wires or fasteners
- Placing rods in forms and fixing them in position
- Reinforcing concrete with wire mesh

**KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Knowledgeable about building technologies and construction technologies
- Well-versed with temporary structure methods and technologies
- Knowledge of steel fitting, steel fixing, fabrication, steel structuring
