**Assembly Fitter**

**Position Title**: Assembly Fitter
**Location**: Thennampalayam, Coimbatore

**Department**:Assembly

**Job Summary**:
The assembly fitter is responsible for assembling components and systems according to engineering specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of mechanical assembly processes. The assembly fitter will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and fit mechanical parts and components according to detailed drawings and specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components effectively and safely.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise, ensuring mínimal disruption to production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
- Previous experience in assembly or mechanical fitting is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in assembly work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components (up to [insert weight] lbs).
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

**Work Environment**:

- The role is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and assembly lines.
- Adherence to safety standards and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
