**Position Title**: Senior SRE / SysOps Administrator

Reporting To : Manager

**Overall Objectives**: Join a large-scale Transformation Program as a senior member of the Project Engineering team. You will be responsible for engineering, configuring, and installing cloud infrastructure, Linux OS, Windows, physical and virtual servers, storage, backups, and disaster recovery planning. We seek a lateral thinker who brings innovative ideas and collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and build multi-cloud infrastructures.

**Primary Focus**:

- Build and implement Google Cloud VMware Engine and on-prem virtualization platforms.
- Deliver IT infrastructure services per project charters and IT architecture.
- Research and recommend computing resources for virtualization.
- Develop scalable infrastructure solutions with advanced monitoring.
- Assist with advanced troubleshooting and contact vendor support for critical incidents.
- Create automation scripts to drive innovation.

**Additional Focus Areas**:

- Expand expertise in various engineering areas to support the entire IT infrastructure.
- Support non-Windows operating systems.

**Core IT Infrastructure Duties**:

- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to enhance skills in software-based infrastructure.
- Ensure proper delivery of IT services and execute SOPs.
- Contribute to documentation for operational best practices.
- Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and after-hours support.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- ** Certifications**: Google Cloud, Azure, AWS, VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and ITIL Foundation are a plus.
- ** Work Experience**: 3-7 years supporting server environments, especially Linux and VMware; 1-3 years managing public cloud resources in GCP and Azure; knowledge of backup tools like Commvault or Veeam; familiarity with Windows Server.
