You will be working as Buyer and will be part of Motion Business Area for System Drives Division based in Bangalore North, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement Manager and will be responsible for purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists. Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions
- Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approvals
- Analyzing and evaluating bids in order to determine the optimal value. Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information
- Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice processing. Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues
- Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
- Conducting all Procurement & Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensuring Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in Pro-Supply procedure

**Your background**:

- B.E or Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical
- Minimum 4 to 5 years relevant experience preferably in supply chain, materials and purchasing inventory management
- Good knowledge in Medium Voltage Drives
- Willing to work in a dynamics environment
- Excellent communication skills
