Job Description:
As a Credit Assistant in the field of microfinance, your primary responsibility will be to support the credit operations of the microfinance institution. You will work closely with the credit team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of financial services to clients, particularly those in underserved or economically disadvantaged communities. Your role will involve a combination of administrative tasks, client interaction, and data management to facilitate the lending process.

Key Responsibilities:
3. **Documentation and Filing**: Organize and maintain physical and electronic loan files, ensuring that all required documents are properly filed and readily accessible for reference and audit purposes. Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality guidelines in handling sensitive client information.

4. **Data Entry and Analysis**: Input client information and loan details into the institution's database or management system accurately and in a timely manner. Generate reports as required to track loan disbursements, repayments, delinquencies, and other relevant metrics for analysis and decision-making.

5. **Compliance and Regulation**: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices governing microfinance operations. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to lending activities, documentation, and client interactions.

6. **Support to Credit Officers**: Collaborate with Credit Officers and other team members to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall operational efficiency. Provide administrative support as needed to facilitate the smooth functioning of the credit department.

7. **Training and Development**: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your understanding of microfinance principles, credit assessment techniques, and customer service skills. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to the mission and values of microfinance, including financial inclusion and poverty alleviation.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
