**Job Description: Senior Application Tester**

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Manual Testing**:

- **Requirement Analysis**:

- **Test Case Development and Execution**:

- Design and execute test cases based on user manuals, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Ensure thorough testing for various scenarios, including edge cases, to confirm software performs as expected.
- **Client Interaction and Support**:

- Conduct client visits as needed to understand testing requirements, demonstrate progress, and address any client concerns.
- Support client User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gathering feedback and implementing necessary changes or fixes.
- **Defect Tracking and Reporting**:

- Document test results, report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed testing records, including bug reports, test cases, and execution results.
- **Test Documentation and Knowledge Transfer**:

- Maintain up-to-date documentation for test cases, defects, and user manuals, ensuring clarity for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in creating or improving user manuals based on testing feedback.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Contribute to process improvements in testing practices and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality.
- Share knowledge with team members and support peer training for quality assurance standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- Experience with manual testing tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
- Ability to design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, especially in client-facing situations.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and support testing efforts on-site.

**Work Arrangement**
- **Hybrid Role**: Work from home with **mandatory client visits** based on project requirements.
- **Flexibility**: On-site visits will be scheduled as needed for testing, feedback sessions, and UAT support.
