**Education : A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is**

**preferred. (Although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a**

**formal education.**

**Location : Pune.**

A KANA Configuration job involves configuring and customizing KANA software products to meet the specific business requirements of an organization.

This job requires a strong understanding of the KANA product suite and its capabilities, as well as an understanding of the customer's business processes and requirements.

**Responsibilities for this role include**:

- Analyzing customer requirements and creating a configuration plan to meet those requirements.
- Configuring and customizing KANA software products to meet customer requirements.
- Conducting system testing to ensure that the configured solution meets customer requirements.
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of the configured solution.
- Providing training and support to customers on the use of the configured solution.
- Providing ongoing technical support to customers to ensure the continued operation of the configured solution.
- Staying up-to-date with new product releases and functionalities and incorporating them into customer configurations as needed.

**Requirements for this role typically include**:

- A strong understanding of KANA software products and their capabilities.
- Experience configuring and customizing KANA software products to meet customer requirements.

**Technical Skill**:
**Familiarity with programming languages**: A Kana Configuration professional should have knowledge of programming language Java, as this is often used to build custom components and extensions for the Kana platform.

**Knowledge of database management**: Understanding of database management systems and SQL (Structured Query Language) is also important as the Kana platform often integrates with these systems.

**Understanding of web technologies**: Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also valuable as the Kana platform is web-based and interacts with these technologies.

**Experience with CRM and customer service processes**: Knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and customer service processes can be beneficial as the Kana platform is often used in these areas.
