**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented **Quality Control (QC) Technician** to join our Smart Lock Manufacturing team. The QC Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of smart lock products during the assembly and production phases. This individual must have a solid understanding of product assembly and be able to identify, troubleshoot, and service issues related to both the mechanical and electronic components, with a strong emphasis on the inspection of PCB assemblies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform quality control inspections of smart lock assemblies, ensuring that all products meet specified quality standards before shipment.
- Inspect and test electronic components, particularly printed circuit boards (PCBs), to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct functional testing of assembled smart locks, including mechanical and electronic systems, to verify proper operation.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve issues related to product defects or assembly inefficiencies.
- Document and report findings from QC inspections, noting any non-conformances or potential areas for improvement.
- Assist in maintaining QC processes and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and in line with industry best practices.
- Provide technical support to the assembly team by troubleshooting and servicing faulty units during and after production.
- Ensure that corrective actions are implemented to address quality issues identified during inspections.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to improve overall product quality and reliability.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Quality Control, specifically in the inspection and testing of electronic PCBs.
- Strong understanding of PCB assembly and the ability to read and interpret electronic BOM.
- Experience with mechanical and electronic assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with quality standards and procedures
- Proficient in using QC testing tools and equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of smart lock products or similar electronic devices is a plus.

**Additional Skills**:

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of modern QC software and tracking systems is an advantage.
- Proficiency in operation MS office especially in Excel and online Google sheets and sharing folders.
- knowledge on sourcing of electronic components /Testing equipment /Tools suppliers and PCB manufacturers is also an added advantage.
- Since the job location is in Coimbatore, it is an added advantage of knowing the places across coimbatore and coimbatore persons will be given preference for this role.
- Knowledge on ERP / Inventory online softwares like ZOHO Inventory..etc
- Knowledge and understanding on PCB assembly gerber files
- Having Valid Driving Licence for 2 wheelers driving

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
